Yes, a lot of those are great ads!! Especially NIKE, always love NIKE commercials!!
I always loved the alka seltzer commercials, and of course volkswagon.
I liked the NIKE ads. I dont remember some of these. Happy Thursday.
Be still my heart with #6. Did you notice how not so subtle they were with the change from 2 months salary to 3. Hub's still thankful we got married before that alteration went through!
I thought I'd recognize more! I'm a sucker for a good jingle!
i agree on McDonald's Alka seltzer,Nike and Clairol those stick in my head for weeks at a time
Those are great ones. I love the "pop, pop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is!"
I can still sing all the words to the Big Mac song and I still love them (as an occasional treat, of course). Still love, love, love them!
I only remember a few (very few) but I enjoy watching those TV shows that show the funniest / most imaginative commercials - I never remember them either !
I've always adored Coca-Cola's commercials. :)
These all rock! Great list!
Great list! I love jingles, myself... they're so catchy.. these days, they don't have that many memorable commercials..
Where's the beef? is another fave :)
It's amazing how permanent some advertising can be. Happy TT and thanks for stopping by.
oh, fun memories! I did a TT on commercials about a year ago--no overlaps, though. :)
Great list! I'm with Sec. agent Mama, love Nike!
Those were some great ones alright. It's amazing how much ads can become a part of popular culture.
Whenever I hear the classical piece played during the De Beers ads, I still think of diamonds. I suppose that's the sign of an effective campaign.
Some of those have passed into the language: We try harder.
I think I remember some of those ads!
And yes, Max looks like a real person/scarecrow! I didn't even try!
Just returning a visit to my site...have a great weekend!
It's funny how the simple tag lines stick with you. Though I wasn't around for all of them, some are legendary. They've all penetrated into our culture. Very clever.
