Theme Thursday - Wonder

Late summer and the kids are still having a ball. My son got a chance to fish this weekend at the camp gound and he had a wonderful time.

My older daughter loves to pick "flowers" for me from our yard.

E sees beautiful flowers, hubby not so much.

And the youngest sitting at the table learning how to draw (or at least learning how not to eat the pencil).

Its so fun to watch them discover the things we take for granted. I love learning things all over again through their eyes. I cannot wait for fall to see them enjoy the season as much as I do.

You are so right. We take so many things for granted that kids find fascinating. It's great to have little ones around to remind us of this. Great shots. Those eyes are sparkling.

I love the flowers! So precious! Kids really do help us to slow down and appreciate the little things.

These are all such great photos which capture the essence of each child.

They are so adorable! I love the one of your daughter...with the flowers...with the chocolate ring around her mouth. Now THAT is a kid. :)

I agree, it is really neat to see their looks of wonder and excitement at something we long gotten used too. I love that shot with the fish, even my teenage son still gets excited when he catches something. :)

I'm so with you. It's fun to get a do-over. These shots are all priceless HG, but again my heart melts all over that last one of your mini-you. WHAT A DOLL.

That is one of my fave things about having kids...they can put anything into perspective and make it special!

I am so laughing over the choco mouth on your girl in the 2nd photo! It is a perfect capture!

LOVE the chocolate ring around her mouth...almost missed it, and am sooo glad I didn't. Super fab fish...I love to fish as well. Oh, pencils just taste good :)

Thanks for the smiles!

These are wonderful! You really captured the soul of each of them! I have to agree with Mamageek on the Mini-you!

You are so right...we get to experience things in a whole new light because of our kiddos! THE best part of parenting! LOVE that last one of your baby girl!!!
